--huq684BweRXVnRxX Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Hi everyone ! I installed -CURRENT some time ago... i would like to help and do some testing on my spare time. for now i build (once a week on average) and use as much as i can. many ports don't work (but i think it's normal, problems with pthread -> seg fault), so i compile them on my -STABLE system. i attach my dmesg / KERNEL (NEPTUNE). some things aren't properly detected by my kernel. if you could give some advice about the PNP lines... it would be cool. and i can't understand why on _every_ machine i build, UDMA doesn't seem to work ! (i've got a good cable in neptune). there is also a "driver mistake" somewhere near sc1. anyway thanks all for your wonderfull work. i've never seen a "current" OS run so flawlessly ! some words about my config: the -STABLE (in fact -RC, i didn't update) machine exports /usr/home (vinum stripe) for the -CURRENT. the -CURRENT is : ASUS CUV4X-D + 2xPIII 800Mhz + 784Mo + 2x30Go IBM + TNT2 + tekram DC310 +... all is in dmesg, dumb am i ! keep up the good work ! --- Olivier Cortes free software admin all the stuff: --------------------------------------------------------------- i last cvsup'd and built kernel/world 3 hours ago.
