Now that X11 is running as well as the ability to use my Netgear PCMCIA
WiFi card, I have (it think) one last issue, apm. apm is reporting:
-=-
dhcp-8: {6} apm
APM version: 1.2
APM Management: Enabled
AC Line status: on-line
Battery status: charging
Remaining battery life: invalid value (0xffffffff)
Remaining battery time: unknown
Number of batteries: 1
Battery 0:
Battery status: not present
Resume timer: Wed Dec 31 15:59:59 1969
Resume on ring indicator: disabled
APM Capabilities:
unknown

Has anyone found a workaround for this; do the Dell laptops suffer from
the same 'off by one' BIOS bug that some other makes have? (as I have read
about via Googling...)

Wait, I just used Google as a verb... The end of the world must be near...
