I tried it on an IBM 560 with a Megahertz 33.6 modem and it worked fine for me. > 3) A new sysctl was added 'machdep.pccard.apm_pccard_resume', which > defaults to 0. But I tried setting both of them to 1, enabling apm, and doing a suspend. I'm still pretty clueless about laptops, so maybe I didn't do it right. The machine hung solid on the way into the suspend. I had to cycle the power to recover. Bummer -- suspend and resume with pccards seemed to work OK under 2.2.2-PAO. Oh well, at least the modem makes noise now. :-) John -- John Polstra jdp@polstra.com John D. Polstra & Co., Inc. Seattle, Washington USA "Self-knowledge is always bad news." -- John Barth
