Hi DES,

The rsync project decide to drop all the unmaintained patches which includes
the fileflag options as part of the security updates.
If we want to maintain the fileflag support we have to do on our own or
revert
and accept to have an rsync version affected by multiple CVE (and there
are more
to come).

The more viable option is to push a merge request to the project to
include those features
in the standalone release, but this can take some time.

If this feature is vital to the project, in the meantime, we can add a
rsync-legacy port
to provide what is needed until we found a proper response

All the best
