I own a bunch of Acer C720 Chromebooks which work very nicely with FreeBSD and are cheap and high performance small netbooks. They came in 2016ff with a Cyapa touchpad which works fine with the cyapa(4), ig4(4) and iicbus(4) driver stack. In 2017 one of these C720 went for repair to Acer.com and was returned with a new touchpad of Elantech which was until now not supported in CURRENT. I do not own this special C720 at the moment but could ask the friend to run a test as well with the new proposed driver. matthias -- Matthias Apitz, ✉ guru@unixarea.de, http://www.unixarea.de/ +49-176-38902045 Public GnuPG key: http://www.unixarea.de/key.pub May, 9: Спаси́бо освободители!
