Hi, Is there any chance that misc/27471 could be looked into before the release of FreeBSD 4.4? It's a patch to fix some missing calls including LINUX_SOUND_MIXER_WRITE_RECSRC in the linux emulation. I've been running it on 4.3-RELEASE for over 2 months now with no problems, and have since discovered somebody else is using a similar patch successfully, http://www.ohnolab.org/~kimoto/freebsd The problems somebody else had with Realproducer 8.0 are not fixed - but the current version, 8.5, works fine (confirmed by the person who used 8.0). RealProducer (by www.realnetworks.com) is distributed pre-compiled, and only Linux, Solaris and Windows verisons exist.
