Hello, i installed 4.10 on alpha. With 4.9 I had not this problem. When i try to install linux base and the linux ldconfig is executed I have a unaligned kernel trap and the system reboots. this happens when glibc-2.2.4-32.1.alpha.rpm is processed by ports installation. I have no problem when loading the linux emulation module. the problem occours when the linux base ldconfig is executed. is there any way to make the kernel ignore the kernel trap? I tryed changing the default values of machdep.unaligned_print: 1 machdep.unaligned_fix: 1 machdep.unaligned_sigbus: 0 but I Solved nothing. any hints ? this happens to me since the new 4.10 release has been installed thanks Rick ===> Installing for linux_base-7.1_6 Linux mode is not enabled.
