When CRON executes a mail delivery, or our CGI scripts on that
server try to call a UNIX call, or even if a remote server tries
to FTP to the server through a PERL script, it will simply freeze,
and not do anything.

If the "top" command is called to see what is going on, in "STATE"
it says: "355 root     -13   0   180K    64K chkiq2   0:00  0.00%  0.00% mkdir"
What is chkiq2 ?
