Minor versions like 1.28.2?
Main problem I see is that we should avoid auto generated tarballs when
possible for reasons that I included in previous email.
I see a release asset that should be used instead:
https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-desktop/releases/download/v1.28.2/mate-desktop-1.28.2.tar.xz
