I finally compiled chromium 35.0.1897.2 with OS_CHROMEOS and OS_FREEBSD together.

I have a "demo" ash_shell running, you can see a screenshot here:

Right now with new fixes, it shows more in the system_tray than the given screenshot

I am using xorg-server 1.15 custom build but i think any WITH_NEW_XORG will do

you can find the port in https://github.com/brunolauze/chromeos

The patches really changes a lot of things, and some are probably useless.

But essentially i'm trying to bypass what ChromeOS is removing of custom functionality like opening app with applications, etc...

If anyone is interested contributing, feel free to reply. But ChromeOS interface load crazy fast. Everything is instant...

Nothing like gnome-shell or kde, even lxde seems slow when loading ash_shell/aura UI.

If someone wants a tarball of the compiled files I can do that, but it's compiled on FreeBSD HEAD with clang 3.4
