It is more complicated than that... the bug only shows up if you specify
an alias name...

$ host releng4.freebsd.org
releng4.freebsd.org is a nickname for usw3.FreeBSD.org
usw3.FreeBSD.org has address 209.180.6.227
usw3.FreeBSD.org has address 209.180.6.227
$
$ host usw3.freebsd.org
usw3.freebsd.org has address 209.180.6.227
$
