hello! I'm having some problems installing FreeBSD. The machine I'm using a HP Vectra XW 6/200 Pentium Pro 200x2, 256 Meg ram, Adaptec onboard 7880 SCSI. i get this error message: Booting [/kernel]... - int=0000000e err=00000002 efl=00010046 eip=c0300aaf eax=c082c000 ebx=0082ac00 ecx=00000000 edx=00000002 esi=0082a000 edi=00832000 ebp=00000000 esp=c082dd98 cs=0008 ds=0010 es=0010 fs=0010 gs=0010 ss=0010 cs:eip=10 15 35 c0 68 20 5a 77-66 ff 00 39 c2 f5 89 65 e8 29 c4 8d 24 68 60 dc-36 c0 68 c0 dd 36 c0 a1 ss:esp=ad ab 12 c0 00 20 83 00-00 a0 82 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00-00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 BTX halted This occurs when the kernel gets booted. I'm using the floppy disks in order to install. I don't think theres something wrong with the hardware since Windows NT 4.0 is installed, and seems to work properly. br .fredrick To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
