I would like to see this done.

Please do prod, it would be encouraging and help me keep focused
as well as feel good about having my name as a line item sort of
thing in these reports.

I have restarted work on locking down struct filedesc and struct
file.

I feel that I had it 80% complete, but because of KSE causing
conflicts in almost every file I've touched I'm back down to 50%.
I'd also like to knote that Seigo Tanimura contributed the initial
work and helped signifigantly by finding and fixing a lot of areas
that needed locking in the filedesc code.

I'll try to give updates when possible. If you prod me for some
metric, I guess at first it's going to be how many files still
have '========' in them, followed by how many files compile followed
by system stability.

Right now I'm still fixing conflicts as much as I can.

thanks,
