Hi Matthew,
   Thanks for the reply.

I ran the MAKEDEV cmd and verified that I have the required output, but
I still can't get any sound to work as non-root user. I just realised as
well that I am also unable to even highlight test and paste with my
mouse (microsoft two button ps2 mouse).

Should I be taking a look at this as well in X85Config file?
