Yes, it already exists but only to build libssp. I've diverted it
because it was more straightforward :), but it would be easy to create a
new knob for this.
Currently, the documentation for WITHOUT_SSP is:
« Set to not build propolice stack smashing protection library. »
I would change it to:
« Set to build libraries, programs, kernel, and modules with
propolice. GNU libssp will not be built either. »
I will happily submit the documentation if the patch hits the tree.
