Just do a acpiconf -i 0 both on AC and on battery to check if that's
work.

For wlan card (and maybe bluetooth) this will require a specific driver
I'm afraid.  I've seen some work on that matter under linux but for
older Acer laptops, though.
I don't understand ATM the mousepad problem you have.  Do you mean it doesn't
work at all or you don't get the extra feature associated to it?
