The first thing that comes up is from section 20.6.4.1, running the root.sh (after the changes) in /ora/app, it asks : Enter the full pathname of the local bin directory: [/compat/linux/usr/local/bin]: I went ahead and left it with the default, which generated the following info : Adding entry to /etc/oratab file... Finished running generic part of root.sh script. Now product-specific root actions will be performed. ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/trace/dbsnmp*.trc: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/trace/oratcl*.trc: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/log/dbsnmp*.log: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/log/nmiconf.log: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/bin/dbsnmp0: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/bin/oemevent0: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/bin/oratclsh0: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/agent/library/pkgIndex.tcl: not found ./root.sh: /ora/app/network/admin/snmp_ro.ora: not found ./root.sh: /snmp_ro.ora: not found I'm not sure if these not found items are a result of the things that I deselected during install or what. On to section 20.6.5.1, where I copied and edited an init file. In he server manager, the connect internal worked ok, but the 'startup nomount' gave me this : SVRMGR> startup nomount ORA-27102: out of memory Linux Error: 22: Invalid argument I made all of the recommend kernel changes and rebooted. At this point I don't seem to be able to get any further. Any ideas? Thanks. -Joseph To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-database" in the body of the message
