An aside: We really oughta have the UnixArchive mirrored somewhere near the
cluster, preferrably with at least manpage trees for each, so we can check
historical behaviour as well as when things came to be, etc.,

Thanks, I did that for the utilities that stood out in my mind as appearing
in PWB.  There's still the problem of our sections 2 and 3 having horridly
inaccurate histories, but that's under investigation.
