I tried that patch but rejected. Afterwards I examined the Makefiles
manually, and did a

  sed s/-lpthread/-pthread/g

but still no help.

I don't know if the problem I am having is the same as the one you
stated. My programs work well when using "nv" driver. The core dumps
only happen when I'm using nvidia-driver.
