Generally when someone tells you it's a good idea on one of the mailing
lists.... It isn't necessary in normal operation -- there's just some
unfortunate interaction between bsd.gnome.mk and the graphviz makefile
that was introduced with a recent update to bsd.gnome.mk.

portupgrade worked perfectly well for me after this fix.
