I been thinking after reading some anti M$ pages. About the fact that M$ ties
some machine vendors from shipping another operating system.

If you ask to have your machine without the operating system or have it with
another operating system the answer may be negative.

But what if you order the machine ..without a harddisc ..?
May this work ?

I live in Sweden usualy, and here there is no problem to have your harddisc
*empty*, but usualy I order my computers in parts as a rule. And then this
problem never arise.

I have never heard of a harddisc of the shelf with a enforced pre installed OS.
At least until now :-) (and hope it won't change..)

            /Peter
