Quoting Daryl Chance <dchance@valuedata.net>: [000828 17:18]: Daryl Chance>m12hRs4n205# ./setiathome -help Daryl Chance>/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libc.so.3" not found I solve my problems of this nature by linking to libc.so If it was something to do with libutil then I will simply do a soft link to the lib that I see is in the system. I hope you know how to do that, but I must also confess that I have not tried to investigate what the effect of this will have on the system functionality or even why the lib is missing in the first place. Let me hope someone like Mark or Ben Smithurst can explain this to me. I am getting to use FBSD just like you ;-) I would be glad to know if there is a place I can read about these features. Daryl Chance> Daryl Chance>I checked /usr/lib and libc.so.4 is there, not 3...do i need Daryl Chance>to recompile ld-elf? how do I fix this.
