The number of times I've seen such a question asked and this turns out
to be the answer is something of a joke. Is it worthwhile/feasible to
add a small message that's displayed along with such
"device_probe_and_attach: xxx and attach returned 6" messages that
suggests to the user to check their BIOS to ensure PNP OS is off?
