> The cache directory is using software RAID-0 (3 x 40GB 7,200RPM UDMA-6) That may be more Squid related than FreeBSD related, but I think I read that Squid is very much able of managing several cache directories, located on several disks, and would end up running faster when let to manage his several cache by itself than through a RAID mechanism.
