I have an update.

1. There is no backtrace. The only thing that I see printed after the
boot screen with beastie is a single line:

'kernel trap 9 with interrupts disabled'

2. Verbose mode does not change it.

3. Removing `-cpu host` fixes it. Here is an excerpt of the host's
