A GENERIC (4.5-STABLE-20020326) kernel finds the two PCI 8029-based NICs
in my system, therefore the option as it appears in GENERIC and LINT are
correct for both ISA and PCI type cards.

I think the problem is with both GENERIC and LINT not making it clear
which device to use for PCI 8029-based NICs.
