It looks like you spammed -current's make.1 onto -stable's make.1.
It's pretty important to review diffs before hitting cvs ci (well, I
think it is and do so religiously...  :-).

If you fixed this by simply merging the code associated with the new
documentation in make.1, I wouldn't be bothered.  :-)
