When I want to boot FreeBSD 3.0, I get an error simply called 'read error' Do you know what this means? And most importantly, how do I solve it?!!! - When I put a simple empty disk or another disk not known by FreeBSD, I don't get anything at all. I have a Matrox (IDE) hard disk (12,9 GB), Creative SB PCI128, STB nVidia TNT 16 MB videocard. This is my partition configuration: 1. FreeBSD +/- 740 MB 2. Windows 98 (FAT32) 3. Windows 95 (FAT16) 4. Extended 5. Swapfile 6. ... (Other partitions) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
