Well, I suppose you could re-read the URL I sent you. But specifically: 1. Send your message to FreeBSD-questions@FreeBSD.org, not me. 2. Describe your hardware and the version of FreeBSD you're running. 3. Describe what you're trying to do. Do you want to use the mouse with X, with moused, or what? 4. Describe what happens. What goes wrong? 5. In this specific case: you're also having problems with PPP. What kind of motherboard do you have. Run dmesg and tell me^H^Hus if you see something like: sio0 at 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 on isa sio0: type 16550A sio1 at 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 3 on isa sio1: type 16550A If you get 'not found' messages, you may be suffering from a known bug which hits certain motherboards. In this case, let me know more about your hardware, in particular the motherboard or the machine manufacturer.
