https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D253202 Bug ID: 253202 Summary: ARM64: add vmx and pvscsi to GENERIC Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: arm64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: conf Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: freebsd@darkain.com ARM64: add vmx and pvscsi to GENERIC As more people are starting to use VMWare ESXi ARM Fling along with pre-bui= lt FreeBSD ISO images, I think it would be worthwhile to include the "vmx" net= work driver and "pvscsi" storage controller driver in ARM64 GENERIC, just as it = is included with AMD64 GENERIC. Since the drivers are identical between AMD64 and ARM64, this shouldn't cau= se much concern. I've personally been using both drivers for a couple months n= ow, since around the launch of ESXi ARM Fling. This will give users wanting to test FreeBSD ARM virtual machines a much be= tter "out of the box" experience. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
