I prepared the patch: http://people.freebsd.org/~ae/arm_boot.diff the main goal is unification of the code to work with partition tables. The same code is used for the uboot, i386, userboot loaders. Also this implementation is much closer to full GPT support, it can check CRC and backup GPT header and table. Some initial support for different sector sizes added. -- WBR, Andrey V.
