Gary, Nobody in FreeBSD has the right to annoy developers by whining at them. Everybody on the other hand, has an _obligation_ to work constructively to improve FreeBSD. Here is a simple litmus test: If your message contains the two words "somebody should" next to each other in that order, then it is very likely in the first (ie: wrong) category. If you feel something should be done, then do it or pay somebody to do it, don't pontificate that the nonexistant committer "somebody" should do it. Poul-Henning -- Poul-Henning Kamp | UNIX since Zilog Zeus 3.20 phk@FreeBSD.ORG | TCP/IP since RFC 956 FreeBSD committer | BSD since 4.3-tahoe Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence.
