Speaking for myself, I did that (with -current though of course)
because it allowed me to get a feel for 4.0 before upgrading more
"important" systems, and to see what sort of problems I might encounter
upgrading. (Of course, none of my home systems are really important, but
some are more important than my workstation.)

Ah, well I guess I'm alright then, as I *have* been reading current for
a while. (Probably about 18 months, certainly since before 4.0-current
existed. :-)
