The following reply was made to PR kern/72116; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Kipp Holger" <h.kipp@eurowings.com> To: <freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org> Cc: <hk@alogis.com> Subject: Re: kern/72116: tagged queueing broken on quantum Atlas10K3 Date: Mon, 18 Oct 2004 13:14:03 +0200 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------_=_NextPart_001_01C4B503.93516C41 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Problem solved. One of the three disks in use (brand new) had a very strange caching and therefore timing/performance behaviour during write operations. Write performance was 'oscillating' between 0 (zero) and maximum. Disk will be replaced. Sorry for the noise.
