The subject said it: I've got a brand new ATAPI DVD-RW. In my kernel,=20 there is ATAPICAM. I can see it with camcontrol, but, cannot see it in=20 cdrecord -scanbus. ???? (The configuration: IDE-0: 2 disks IDE-1: master, the problematic DVD-RW Samsung TS-H552B, with the latest=20 firmware Adaptec-2940U: 2 disks and a Yamaha CD-writer - but I think, it doesn't=20 matter) $ dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
