Since I upgraded my VirtualBox on FreeBSD 8-Stable to 3.1.2 with a Windows 7 client, audio is unusable. It is "beating" as if about half the audio packets are missing. Video is fine. I hear this for all audio, including the Windows login and logout sounds, as well, so it is not network related. Other than the sound, my VB is working fine, but the sound used to work with earlier versions, so something clearly regressed. Are others seeing this? Any ideas as to the cause? -- R.
