Dear people, Chapter 27.3 of the FreeBSD handbook (on wireless networking) tells that": "In order to set up a wireless access point with FreeBSD, you need to have a compatible wireless card. Currently, only cards with the Prism chipset are supported." Due to the great improvements in FreeBSD wlan, this is no longer true. I created a quick howto for making a FreeBSD accesspoint using a ral-based wlan card. I published this under GNU FDL so u can link to it or use it. Greetings, Daim
