Hi,
The problems with my Athlon Thunderbird 700 on an Asus K7M Motherboard
(Bios 1009) and FreeBSD 4.2 still exists. I didn't get a solution from
the FreeBSD-community to solve this problems.
Now I installed RedHat 7.0 Linux an it works. I think there is a bug in
the FreeBSD-kernel, witch slows down my system, because three other OS's
work without Problems (Linux, W98, Win2k).
Here's the problem-description again:
The system is very very slow, like on an old 386. Keyboard clicks are
delayed, its like I work over a slow network. I have this problems since
I updatet from an Athlon 500 to an Athlon Thunderbird 700.
I use already the latest BIOS from Asus.
