After realizing the mistake and issuing immediately after this mount_msdos /def/fd0.1440 /mnt the system does something for several seconds (all responses are very slow), then reboots. This was tested on two very different (486-66-32-ISA-IDE and PII-400-128-PCI-SCSI) machines with two different known-to-be-good diskettes. Both diskettes were mounted alright when the correct mounting command was specified. >How-To-Repeat: See description.
