This is a common problem with asymetric connections like ADSL lines. You can work around this problem by either limiting the maximum upload bandwidth in mldonkey itself or use another means of traffic shaping (like DUMMYNET) to limit the bandwidth used by upstream connections to some value below the maximum upstream capacity of your ADSL line. -- ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | lofi@freebsd.org (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org --------------enigE0CA8790A507732DF2F95599 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3-nr1 (Windows 2000) Comment: Using GnuPG with Netscape - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/oqxhXhc68WspdLARAhkmAJwNCS7GprIqayzO232NdFWF2p2/kQCeK7km PSA9k25sMbqtMQhsoR1VVPA= =9P1Y -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigE0CA8790A507732DF2F95599--
