I just finished rebuilding a kernel cvsuped about 20 minutes ago, which
made it about 9:15 EST.
When I start X, the machine locks up completely just after the gray screen
and mouse pointer appear. This machine is not on a network (other than
dialup) so I can't ping it, but none of the lights on the keyboard work.
