for me also there seems to be some sort of switch in PA device 3 becomes 4 for
OSS and SNDIO and vice versa others 4 becomes 3 in PA. how it this possible?

this is not a problem in Firefox that uses PA backend. but became a problem i
Chromium that uses SNDIO backend now.
