OK, I am writing a script to create email lists- and another to destroy them.
Could not write to the aliases file, so I changed the permissions. BAD IDEA.
Well, I got the email system working again when I restored (?) permissions. But
now it is only writable by the owner, root. Hmmm, do I REALLY want a script
accessed by all the world to run as root?
Any discussion on this matter?
