I need to build a custom boot/loader to test a fix (this is on beast FWIW) I do the following: cd /dir/src/sys/boot; make that completes with no errors. I then take the resulting alpha/netboot/netboot code and copy it to my system and attempt to boot. The result is the system resets after loading the code with no errors. This is before I make any changes, what am I doing wrong? -- David Cross | email: crossd@cs.rpi.edu Lab Director | Rm: 308 Lally Hall Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, | Ph: 518.276.2860 Department of Computer Science | Fax: 518.276.4033 I speak only for myself. | WinNT:Linux::Linux:FreeBSD To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the messagehelp
