Hi again, for those that have had this problem in the past, I thought a solution posted to the mailing list would be useful. It was suggested to me that I should build XFree86 witht the int10 module disabled. In trying to figure out how to do this, I stumbled across the changelog for the 4.3.99 (4.4.0) XFree86 pre releases and it seems there has been a problem with int10 on non-linux, non-x86 (ie, FreeBSD/alpha) that is now fixed. I installed the XFree86-4-Server-snap port which is version 4.3.99.12_2 right now (required disabling DRI on 5.X, seems to build fine on 4.X). XFree86 -configure caused the on-board scsi to freak out, but once I gave it a config file, it works fine. -p On Thursday, October 9, 2003, at 06:55 PM, Peter Larkowski wrote: > Hi everyone.
