https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=244356 --- Comment #91 from Olivier Certner <olivier.freebsd@free.fr> --- Just a small word to say that I was busy with other things, and will be for the next month at least. Also, I performed some more tests, which did not seem to give more insight than what we already have. Finally, I studied GEOM_CACHE's code, and only started modifying it. Having in mind the deadlock I mentioned in an earlier comment, I thoroughly reviewed the code but did not find any direct bug there. The code makes some coherent assumptions about how the GEOM framework operates. It might be that some of the assumptions are wrong, but for now I have no particular reason to think so. I could not reproduce the deadlock by torture testing CURRENT with GEOM_CACHE on top of a md-backed memory disk. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
