As far as I understand it, it appears that users of EUC locales want a backout, while users of ISO-8859 locales (myself included, though I'd prefer UTF-8) push for inclusion in 4.5... I may be stating the obvious, but can't there be a partial backout, with *.euc?? going back to *.EUC and *.ISO8859-* staying that way ? Thanks, Cedric Ware.
