The default is to enable | Render acceleration. `---- So it might work with your 9200 card. I don't know why you say the radeon support is broken in Xorg 7.3, it works well here. The only problem I've got was because of an nforce 2 related breakage in the FreeBSD kernel itself, a patch has been posted on this mailing list a couple of weeks ago if you're concerned.
