Specific questions should probably be directed to the hackers@FreeBSD.org
mailing list.
Things like this tend to be documented in the code itself, or in the
manual pages.
If you find a poorly documented section, and struggle through to understand
it, we would appreciate any comments (or documentation) you would like to
submit.
