Hello, I will get a new laptop soon. It will be a HP Omnibook 4150 (it uses a TI1220 PCIC-Controller). Now I am looking for a PC-Card Fast- Ethernet-Card. I will use FreeBSD 4.0-current. I was looking at a D-Link DFE650 (PC-Card) or DFE660 (PC-Cardbus). The docu for the 660-Card mentions that it will work together with the TI1220-Chip. Will one of these Cards work with 4.0-current? What about PAO? I would prefer the 660-Card, because my understanding is that PC-Card is to slow to feed a full Fast-Ethernet-Channel. Can we do Cardbus these days? I understand to little of these things to see if there would/is special support for that needed. Are there any other hints of what for a Fast-Ethernet (100MB) Cards for a Laptop could be used together with 4.0-current?
